Cursed is the one who trusts in man; he is a lone tree in the wasteland
Yirmiyahu, 17:5–6
5So says Hashem: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from Hashem.
6He will be like a lone tree in the wasteland, and he will not see when good comes; he will dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, a salt land where no one lives.
