ובאומרו לישועתך קוינו יכוין למה ששואלים אותו צפית לישועה
וכ׳ מהר״י צמח ז״ל וגם אני מכווין לצפות לישועת ה׳ שעושה עמנו להצילנו מכמה פגעים רעים בכל יום ובכל רגע ומצאתי תועלת גדול כמה פעמים לעתות בצרה בזה עכ״ל:

At “For Your salvation we hope,” have in mind to look forward to the salvation Hashem does with us every day; in times of trouble this was found of great benefit
And when he says [in Shemoneh Esrei], “For Your salvation we hope,” he should have in mind what they ask him [at his judgment]: “Did you look forward to the salvation?” (Shabbos 31a).
And the Mahari Tzemach wrote: “And I too have in mind to look forward to the salvation of Hashem that He does with us, to save us from many evil mishaps every day and every moment; and I have found great benefit in this many times, in times of trouble.” Until here [are] his words.
