Devarim 8:18 (Eikev)
“And you say in your heart”: that HaKadosh Baruch Hu watches over you only in giving you strength at the start, and from then on you make the wealth yourself
And you shall remember, etc.: If we explain that it is the conclusion of the matter, and a command that one remember that “He is the One who gives strength, etc.,” then according to this the passage next to it, “And it will be, if you forget, etc.” (Devarim 8:19), is difficult: what does this short passage come to add that is new? And also, the order of the pesukim does not lend itself to being explained [so], in that it says, “And you say in your heart, etc.” (Devarim 8:17), and does not conclude what will come of this saying, but only returns to the command. Rather, all of it refers to “and you say in your heart”: that you will think that HaKadosh Baruch Hu watches over you only in that He gives you strength to make wealth; and since He gave you strength at the beginning of [your] formation, and likewise at the beginning of the year, from then on you yourself make this wealth for yourself. And it concludes further: “In order to establish, etc.”: you will think further that His giving you strength is only in order to establish His covenant, and once He has established it, He has nothing more to do with you; and if so, we need to bless Hashem only once a year, or the like. On this it concludes [with the passage that follows].
