Tanach

Tehillim

91:2–7

He is my refuge and my fortress, my G-d in Whom I trust; you will not fear the terror of the night

2I will say of Hashem, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my G-d in Whom I trust.”

3For He will save you from the snare of the trapper, from the destructive pestilence.

4With His pinion He will cover you, and under His wings you will take refuge; His truth is a shield and an encircling armor.

5You will not fear the terror of the night, the arrow that flies by day,

6the pestilence that walks in darkness, the destruction that ravages at noon.

7A thousand will fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; it will not come near you.
