Tanach

My soul is quiet within me, like a weaned child with his mother

Tehillim, 131:1–3

1A song of ascents, by David. Hashem, my heart was not proud, and my eyes were not lofty; and I did not go after things too great and too wondrous for me.

2Surely I have made my soul still and quiet, like a weaned child beside his mother; like the weaned child is my soul within me.

3Let Yisrael hope to Hashem, from now and forever.
