“And I will bless them” (Bamidbar 6:27): so that Yisrael will not say that their blessings depend on their Kohanim, the pasuk says, “And I will bless them.” So that the Kohanim will not say, “We will bless Yisrael,” the pasuk says, “And I will bless them.” I will bless My people Yisrael, as it says, “For Hashem your G-d has blessed you in all the work of your hands, as He told you” (Devarim 2:7; Devarim 15:6). And it says, “You will be blessed above all the peoples” (Devarim 7:14). And it says, “Hashem will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens” (Devarim 28:12). And it says, “In good pasture I will tend them” (Yechezkel 34:14). And it says, “I will tend My flock” (Yechezkel 34:15).
