336:1

The Torah gave the doctor permission to heal; it is a mitzvah, and one who holds back is a shedder of blood

The Torah gave the doctor permission to heal. It is a mitzvah, and it is included in saving life. If he holds himself back, he is a shedder of blood, even if [the sick person] has someone [else] to heal him; for a person does not merit to be healed by everyone.
