A person must reflect on his affairs and see Hashem’s providence over him in everything, and so his bitachon is strengthened: “Taste and see that Hashem is good”
A person must reflect on his affairs and see the providence of Hashem over him in each and every thing; and through this the mitzvah of bitachon will be strengthened in him. And this is what the pasuk says, “Taste and see that Hashem is good; fortunate is the man who takes refuge in Him” (Tehillim 34:9): that is to say, he should reflect well, as one who wants to taste something.
