ועוד צדיק אוכל לשובע נפשו כי הצדיק באמונתו יחי׳ ובוטח בה׳ ולכן לא ירעיב את נפשו. ובטן רשעים תחסר שהן מתייראין שמא לא יהי׳ להם מחר לאכול כי כל מה שיש להם הוא מעט אצלם ואין להם בטחון בה׳ ומקמצין אכילתם ולכן בטנם חסר

The tzaddik lives by his faith and trusts in Hashem, so he does not starve himself; the wicked fear they will have nothing tomorrow, have no trust, stint on their food, and so their belly lacks

And further: “The righteous man eats to the satisfaction of his soul,” for the tzaddik lives by his faith (Chavakuk 2:4) and trusts in Hashem, and so he does not starve his soul. “But the belly of the wicked will lack”: for they are afraid that they will have nothing to eat tomorrow, since whatever they have is little in their eyes, and they have no trust in Hashem, and they stint on their eating; and so their belly lacks.
