6He set officers of war over the people, and gathered them to him at the square of the city gate, and spoke to their hearts, saying,

7“Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid and do not be dismayed before the king of Ashur and before all the multitude that is with him, for there is more with us than with him.

8With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is Hashem our G-d, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people leaned on the words of Chizkiyahu king of Yehudah.
