Pesukei Bitachon
Acharonim
Pesukei Bitachon
Pesukim of bitachon, said in the name of the Maharal of Prague
It is written in the name of the great gaon and chassid, outstanding in his generation, the Maharal of Prague, zt"l, and it is also brought in the sefer Taharas HaKodesh, that every person should say pesukim of bitachon to train himself in the middah of bitachon and emunah. This is the foundation of the Jewish faith, all the more so today, when emunah has grown very weak among many people and one must greatly strengthen himself in it. After saying the pesukim, one should ask Hashem to grant him the middah of emunah and bitachon as He wishes. This gaon wrote there that he had received from earlier generations, of blessed memory, that these pesukim are a segulah to cancel all harsh decrees. It has been tested and proven: people said these pesukim in a number of battles, placed their trust firmly in HaKadosh Baruch Hu, and were saved. So they are a great segulah. They are also a segulah for people in business, to say on the road, and at home before their dealings.
